Here’s New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jose Alvarado on what impresses him the most about where Trey Murphy III’s at as a player since entering the league together back in 2021 (averaging 22.1 PPG/5.2 RPG/3.1 APG/1.2 SPG/0.8 BPG/46.7% FG/37.0% 3-PT/88.5% FT).
*PPG, RPG, APG, SPG, and BPG are all career-highs*
(via New Orleans Pelicans):
“Just how he putting his overall game all together, letting it slow down for him, and doing what he do. Obviously we knew how really good as a shooter he was, but now he’s attacking downhill, very athletic, and he’s making plays. He’s growing. He’s a star of coming. So, that’s what impressed me. But I seen the work, it’s not blind. We’ve been seeing this since he been here, it just took time. And now, the time is here.”
